My husband said they were amazing fast team

There were many breakages including a bespoke, hand-crafted dresser in Malaysian teak. They denied there were any damages. I'd been told by their reception that I could use Afterpay. On the day, they said they didn't accept that, put me through to a manager who said the same thing and the removalists promptly left, leaving my entire kitchen and other furniture behind. They will not be receiving payment. They were not remivalists - they were demolition men.

Was very stressful. They showed up with a small truck even though I asked whether the truck will be big enough on a couple of occasions. I stated it was a 2 way settlement and we don't have access prior for multiple trips. The company sent another truck which arrived hours later and charged me for both. I ended up with most of my stuff left in the car port and had to pay for it to be moved into the house the next day.

My experience with City Removalists was extremely disappointing, and I would not recommend them. There were problems with both the removal service and the end-of-lease cleaning I booked through them. For the cleaning, I was initially told the cleaner would attend at 11:00 am. That then became 3:30 pm, then the following morning at 9:30 am. I was subsequently told they would arrive “in 10 minutes”, so I travelled to the property — only to find that nobody was there. After repeated delays, changing arrival times and a complete failure to provide the service as arranged, I cancelled the booking. I then also had to pursue the return of my $100 deposit. The removal itself also left me with serious concerns about the way charges were handled. I had already paid a $200 deposit in two $100 payments, yet I disputed the final amount because of additional charges and what I considered a lack of transparency around the pricing. In particular, the terms appeared to allow a range of extra charges

Not bad but i had a complaint i erroneously made but they promised to get back to me but they never did.Also they were more interested in getting paid very quickly than confirming it the customer was satisfied .But the employees ( the 2 Gabrielles were fantastic)

Good overall, 2 helpers worked effortlessly and made it happen for us in one day

Tooo slow . they left before us and we had to wait for them to arrive at both properties for at least 15 mins each time.

Excellent to deal with. Removalists were friendly and helpful. Easy.

They were quick efficient and on time.
