Move For Less removals

On the day of moving, I was asked to change my original time earlier so I replied I could make it 30 mins earlier as I was working. After work, I used a taxi to go home to arrive 30 mins earlier. Then I got a text message after my original booking time saying my booking had to be postponed to the next day morning because movers got sick and couldn’t find any other people. I asked for discount for the sudden postponing and I got a reply “ Yeah definitely I have to pay Sunday rates but I can give you the first half hour for free ” So we agreed. But I felt like it was my fault for him have to pay Sunday rate to his employees. Next day movers failed the time of arrival again, 1 hours and 15 mins late. However, movers were very nice and helpful. Very happy with their work but not happy with the sudden rescheduling.

Movers were 25 minutes late and I didn’t receive a message on their eta when they were meant to arrive. They moved 5 small boxes and a mattress, drove 5 minutes down the road to the drop off location and then quoted me $212 for doing 30 minutes of total work.

Higor was very professional and helpful. Him and his team mate were very careful with our things and yet fast and efficient with our removal. I appreciate their help and would definitely recommend Move for Less to anyone. Great services! Thank you Ana & Kauri

Good team and worked hard

Booked for a small removal job from an apartment to a house in the Brisbane area, the company was clear in their communication and turned up exactly on time, after a quick review of the equate and acceptance they loaded and unloaded in good time, I would recommend these guys again for any small move provided you list exactly what is being moved this will be a no surprises quick and easy moving experience.

The two removalists worked really hard and consistently and were very flexible and polite

The move was on 6 September 2024, from Storage King Deagon to Carseldine. The move was scheduled for 9am the removalists arrived at 10am. It took a total of 9.5 hours, this included half hour lunch break. The removalists were that slow even the storage facility staff commented. Originally it took only 5 hours to move the same furniture from Carseldine to the storage facility. I did not use the original removalist who placed my furniture into storage because I was not satisfied with the care they took. Unfortunately the team from Move for Less took even less care. I now have a china cabinet with lead light panel that requires repairs to one of the leadlight panels because the removalists pushed against the leadlight panel with his knee to slide the cabinet along the truck floor. There are a number of items with damage, in particular a timber bedhead that was dragged upside down along concrete. I do not recommend this company.
