I'm 70 and have no car. This was a small 2 bed move. Initial engagement was quite good. Providing a list of items beforehand was a good idea however if my daughter had not taken 2 full carloads of fragile/expensive items beforehand, the truck would not have been big enough. Actual move: I have a bent leg on an expensive chair. Heavy cartons were put on top of piles (up to 6ft high) so I had to remove some contents before I could move the boxes. Whilst the dining table/doorway issue couldn't be foreseen, I'm paying the guy $150+ an hour to take legs off my dining table with MY screwdriver because his electric tool didn't work. I provided the offsider with sunscreen - added extra!! To cap it off the Call Out Fee was not included in the cost. It was an additional extra plus GST. This is not a practice I've found with other trades. Overall: an expensive and annoying experience.

They did a great job! I cannot thank them enough for their hard work and even making the beds and sorting out the lounge room. Immaculate work that I did not expect. They packed out boxes and move everything in easily 8 hours! Would recommend to anyone! I’ve never had a removalest move for me and I didn’t know what to expect. I am impressed to say the least!

How did you start your business?
We started as a humble one-man crew with a van, moving only small furniture. Word spread quickly, and over the last several years we were growing at a consistent pace to the size of the organisation we are now - with multiple trucks, amazing team and a large network allowing us to reach almost every corner of Australia!

What makes us stand out is how much we actually care. We're not just about getting things from A to B - we treat every move like it’s our own. Our team shows up on time, communicates clearly, and handles items with real care. Plus, we’re flexible, easy to deal with, and always ready to go the extra mile (literally and figuratively). It’s that mix of reliability, friendliness, and good old hard work that keeps our customers coming back.
What is your top advice for your customers?
Our top advice? Have everything packed and ready to go – so when the R2G team arrives, you’re Ready 2 Go! (see what we did there?😉). But really, it saves time, keeps things running smoothly, and helps us get your move done quicker (and cheaper!). Label your boxes clearly, keep essential items separate, and don’t forget to give us a heads-up if you’ve got anything super heavy, fragile, or quirky - we’ve seen it all and we’re always happy to help.
