Truck arrived late at night and left at 11.45pm - disturbing neighbours As I wasn't in attendance, the packers forgot items. Items arrived damaged as not protected by padding Definite language problem with driver Read the small print re their insurance, it's pathetically inadaquate. The claim process takes at least 6 weeks - I'm still awaiting a result on my claim Customer service dealing with claims and questions is non-existent My advice - just don't use Star City Removals

Hours and cubic metres were allocated to my move from the east coast of NSW to the outback city of Broken Hill. When I received the quote I understood that that was firm. It wasn’t. Extra money was requested due to extra hours taken to move me. There was no inventory requested. The quote was based on the fact that I was moving from a 3 bedroom house. A lot of my belongings were damaged in some way and very little care was taken. The workers were under a lot of pressure to get the job done in the required time frame and this made a stressful situation with moving even more stressful. My dealings with administration were difficult and i felt that I was unable to negotiate as they wouldn’t unload the truck unless I complied with the extra charges. Original payment plan I had negotiated was not adhered to. Very poor service from the admin team at Star City Removals. I would not recommend their services to anyone.

Movers were prompt, professional and reliable. Quick job and nice people to deal with. A little more care with wrapping certain things and we would’ve had everything as it was before the move, tiny scratches on some things in boxes but nothing broken or wrecked.
